MEETINGS:

Over the last two months we've had three den meetings, two pack meetings, and a couple of weekend activities (including Conservation Projects at Highland Recreational Area and Scouting for Food).

With strong attendance at our den meetings, averaging 11 boys per meeting. we've been able to work thru three Wolf Achievements (Feats of Skill, Tools for Fixing and Building, and Your Flag). (We plan to to complete all 12 achievements by our Blue and Gold banquet so that all the boys in our Den can be officially recognized as 'Wolves').

For boy who have were not able to attend all of the den meetings we've had so far, we'd like you to work thru the achievements at home - Let me know when you've completed them. (Note - since we'll be regularly practicing 'Your Flag' achievements at our den meetings (conduct a flag ceremony, fold a flag, etc), you do not need to worry about practicing any part of this achievement that requires a physical flag at home).

Also, as a reminder, we expect that each boy will work thru achievement #9 ('Be Safe at Home and on the Street') and achievement #8 ('Cooking at Home') with their parents and family - we are not planning on formally covering these achievements during our regular den meetings.

SCOUTING FOR FOOD OVERVIEW:

Our scouting for food event was on November 3rd. The scouts collected food that was generously donated by our neighbors around Eastover Elementary. The scouts then donated the food to Gleaners Food Bank in Pontiac.

We will also be volunteering at Gleaners food bank on the first and second saturday's of December - signup for this event is via 'Sigunp Genius', and was sent out on behalf of Pack1014 earlier this week.

Let me know if you have not received an invitation via 'Signup Genius' to signup and volunteer at Gleaners.
