At Pack 1014, we embrace the whole family! When you register your child for Cub Scouts, everyone in your family becomes part of our Pack family. Parents, guardians, aunts, uncles, grandparents, godparents, and siblings are all encouraged to join in on the excitement. It’s not just your Scout who will make new friends; you’ll have the chance to connect with other Scout families as well. We’re proud of the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere we create and look forward to sharing it with you each year.
Now that you've registered, you may be wondering what to do next. Here are the Pack 1014 1-2-3's for getting started!
1. SCOUTBOOK: A few days after submitting your youth application, your Scout will be registered with Pack 1014. The Michigan Crossroads Council will sync their records with ScoutBook, our system for tracking advancement and communicating with families. You’ll then receive an email to connect to your Scout’s account. Please be sure to open this email and follow the instructions.
2. FACEBOOK PAGE & CALENDARS: Join our Facebook page, where we share photos, event reminders, updates, and more! On this site, you'll also find our Calendar Hub. The calendars provide important information about events like pack meetings, den meetings, and banquets. With an action-packed year ahead, be sure to access these resources right away!
3. JUMP INTO MEETINGS AND HAVE FUN: The best way to get started is to dive into our meetings and enjoy the experience! Engaging with fellow families, participating in activities, and sharing your enthusiasm will help you feel right at home. Each meeting is an opportunity to learn, connect, and make lasting memories. We can’t wait to see your family’s energy and creativity come to life as we embark on this exciting adventure together!
We've said it before, and we'll say it a million times more: we’re so glad you’ve decided to join and trust us with your Cub Scouting adventure! We look forward to an awesome year and can't wait to meet you. If you need help or have questions, please see the Contact Us page.
Yours in Scouting,
The Pack 1014 Leadership Team
